Christine reveals she and Kody only had sex ‘a couple times a year’ in the ‘Sister Wives’ season 17 premiere

Christine Brown has been honest with the world about her sex life with her husband, Cody Brown, on the season 17 premiere of TLC’s “Sister Wives,” which aired Sunday.

For most of the episode Cody and Christine chat about the end of their marriage, with Christine accusing Cody of first telling her that he doesn’t want an “intimate” marriage with her.

In the middle of the conversation, Cody disagrees with Christine about their lack of intimacy, saying that it is present in their marriage when Christine acts a certain way.

“There is intimacy and love in your relationship with me,” he said. “I’m sorry that it’s conditional on being part of a plural family.”

“A couple of times a year doesn’t work for marriage,” replied Christine to her then-husband. Cody sighs and says he feels like Christine is making allegations against him.

“You’re not interested in an intimate marriage with me. I was,” said Christine.

“I’m no longer interested in an intimate marriage with you,” she continued. “Even if you said we could be intimate again at this point, I wouldn’t believe it for a second.”

Cody hit back at Christine with an accusation of his commitment to plural marriage: “Even if you said you liked plural marriage and you would be devoted to it, I don’t believe it for a second. Will happen.”

Christine and Cody married in 1994 and have six children together: son Paddon, 24, and daughters Aspin, 27, Mykelti, 26, Gwendolyn, 20, Isabel, 19, and Trulli, 12. Christine grew up in polygamy Has said in the past on “Sister Wives” that she wanted to remain in a plural marriage and specifically wanted to be a third wife.

But she admitted on the show that when Cody married his fourth wife, Robin, in 2010, he struggled with jealousy. In an episode of the show filmed in 2020, she said that Cody’s favorite kids were “obvious,” which was negatively affecting. Relations with some of his daughters.

Christine expressed her frustration with the fact that their intimacy was based on how Cody treated his sister’s wives on Sunday’s episode.

“You’re an idiot to think that my worth as a human being depends on how I treat other people and that you don’t find me attractive,” she wrote in a single, addressing Cody. Confessions said in the interview. Christine said she thought Cody had “a favorite wife” and believed that Christine “wasn’t treating him well.”

“So, I can’t do anything. I mean honestly, what he’s asking me is ridiculous,” she concluded.

Christine and Cody announced via Instagram in November that they were separating after more than 25 years of a spiritual marriage.
