In Brooke’s place, she leaves Ridge a message on the phone saying that he missed her last night and noting that he left early this morning. Asha breaks down as she disconnects and asks what happened last night. Brooke says, “Stephie happened.” Asha asks what does it mean. Brooke says that he didn’t come home in time to be with them. He was into Steffi’s and made sure he didn’t come home for too long.
At Cliff House, Steffi admires Thomas and Zende’s collaborative design and says they should show it to Hope. That conversation needs to reunite Taylor and Ridge as her mother enters the room and complains, “Stephie!” The group reveals what a great place family holds these days. All they need is that Ridge leave Brooke and come to her mother’s house, says Steffi. Taylor looks desperate.
At Il Giardino, Wyatt and Liam want to know what Bill “calls” them. He claims that he only wants to have lunch with his boys. “Kiss me.” They scream and scream. Liam asks, “Let me straighten it out… you just wanna catch up?” He thinks they should start by discussing the fact that Ridge Bill and Brooke moved into each other’s arms. Wyatt eagerly leans forward.
Bill complains about how the rumors get started. He insisted that nothing was going on. Ridge just walked in and made nothing as usual because he’s full of insecurities. Liam asks if he shouldn’t have known that this would have been triggering for him. Bill complains about everyone being “triggered” these days and Brooke laments, “I’ll never understand why he’s keeping up with Poser the Clown.” He wants to hold the guy by the neck and remind him how lucky he is to have Brooke. Bill thinks she is a useless waste of skin and wants to know what she sees in him. Liam tells his father that he doesn’t get his family side and the love between him and Brooke is closely undeniable. However, Liam knows that outside forces are working against him. “Stephie and Thomas, for example.”

Wyatt and Bill think that grown-up children should stay away from their parents’ lives. Liam complains about Hope going to the Forester’s Dinner, to which she has not been invited. It’s classic Thomas but she doesn’t see it that way. He thinks he is getting into her head; Like Taylor and Ridge, when she gets there, she continues to be distracted by what she sees. Hope doesn’t know how much to tell Brooke because she’s afraid to restart the Logan vs. Forrester battle. Bill doesn’t think Brooke will let anyone sabotage his marriage.

At Brooke’s house, she tells Hope how Steffi answered Ridge’s phone and refuses to bother him. When he reminded her that she was his wife, he actually said, “Not for long.” Hope is the destination. She asks if her mother called back. She didn’t notice, and by the time he got home she was asleep. Hope has no right to stop Steffi from interfering and talking to her husband. Steffi and Taylor have gone too far. Brooke agrees and thinks it’s time to talk with Taylor. Hope thinks she’ll talk to Steffi about her groundbreaking campaign to end her mother’s marriage.
At Cliff House, Taylor tells Steffi that her father’s wish for the end of his marriage should never go out of his mouth. Zende takes the sketch and heads to the hills. Taylor tells Thomas and Steffi to focus on something other than their parents, but Steffi reiterates her case. Taylor is desperate but still loves them.
Later, Thomas encourages Taylor to take Douglas to the skate park and spend so much time with him. He thanks her for supporting her. They hug and Brooke walks out as soon as he arrives. “You both play well,” says Thomas, and leaves. Brooke informs Taylor that her daughter is out of control. “I hope you stop Steffi.”

Taylor asks why the blonde is coming after Steffi. Brooke insists it’s the other way around. It’s great that Finn is back; All this is very precious, but wedding vows are also precious. She is trying to obstruct his marriage. Taylor says every child wants their parents to get back together. He surprised Brooke by telling her that she had just told Steffi and Thomas that they needed to stop interfering. Brooke tells what happened last night when Steffi intercepted her call. Taylor yells, “Oh my god, I don’t want to believe that.” Brooke announces that she is taking on the role of gatekeeper. Brooke reminds Taylor that her daughter is doing it all in hopes that her marriage will break up He can step in.
At Forrester, Steffi is visiting the design with Paris when Hope comes over and asks to speak to the CEO alone. Paris files and Steffi says that sacking the young woman was unfair. Hope counters, “How are you trying to sabotage my mother’s marriage to Ridge?” She questions Steffi to investigate her father’s calls and complains that she is at his house more than he is at home… which is by design.
Asha wonders what happened to bringing the family together and putting the kids first. Steffi says it is about her parents and the future stolen from them. Her father is starting to see what it would be like to be drama-free without the pain, just love. That’s what his grandmother always wanted for him. She is no longer the one to fight, but Steffi is. She declares, “It is time for my father to return to his real family – the Forester.”
