Meghan Markle’s awkward exchange with royal aides over flowers is caught on video

It was a flower rumble.

Meghan Markle got caught up in an awkward moment with her husband, Prince Harry, as well as Prince William and Kate Middleton mourning the loss of Queen Elizabeth II, including a bouquet of flowers.

But moments later, another colleague went to pick up the flowers Harry got from a member of the public and then reached for Markle’s bouquet as well. The “Suits” alum protested at first, but after an aide explained the situation, Markle obliged and handed over the floral arrangement.

“The big guns had to step in when Meghan refused to let the flowers go, the primary aide tried to take her because she herself wanted to walk them to another tribute,” A fan account tweeted,

Several Twitter users speculated that Markle wanted to hold the flowers and put them on the fence for photo-op purposes.

One viewer tweeted, “She wanted it for the optics, but it was crushed by people who know what she’s trying to achieve.” Another wreath. ,

“She probably wanted to be captured and filmed when she would walk alone and put flowers in there and do an action. In fact, if you think about it, she’s really a narcissist, always at every opportunity. But tries to make up everything about her! Glad she was stopped!” Agreed for a second.

“She’s absolutely classless, as simple as that,” said a third.

However, other Twitter users gave Markle the benefit of the doubt, saying she was trying to mourn the Queen in peace.

“Can’t believe Meghan has started cursing, this is the first time she’s experienced it and trying her best, she probably promised herself flowers and she’ll be there until told by Harry That’s what was going to do, it’s okay to pass them over,” one person tweeted in defense of Markle.

“She probably did not understand that flowers are removed for security purposes. After all, a tiny explosive device, nerve gas, a venomous insect, any number of things they could hide,” another fan explained of royal protocol.

“Oh my God……Stop it!!!! Leave this poor person alone. Take a breath….. it will come out as soon as it comes out. Be glad that the whole world is not weighing on your every step. Enough is enough,” wrote another.

Markle, 41, and Harry, 37, joined William and Middleton, both 40, laying flowers outside Windsor Castle to pay tribute to the late monarch.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared in public with the newly crowned Prince and Princess of Wales for the first time since Commonwealth Day in March 2020.

A royal source told Page Six that William extended the invitation to his estranged brother and sister-in-law, adding: “We are all very grateful – both sides put everything aside for the Queen.”

Harry rushed to the Queen’s side last Thursday morning when Buckingham Palace announced his health was rapidly declining, but he came after the death of his grandmother – and without his wife, who was reportedly feared that it will not be warmly received.

Harry issued an emotional statement on Monday on the loss of the monarch.

“Grandma, while this final parting leaves us deeply saddened, I am forever grateful for all my first meetings – from my childhood memories with you, to meeting you for the first time as my Commander-in-Chief, before Till the moment you met my lovely wife and hugged your lovely great-grandson,” he said.

Harry continued, “I cherish these moments shared with you and the many other special moments in between. You are already missed so much.”

Markle has yet to release a statement, though the pair mourned the loss of the Queen by keeping their Archewell outfit’s website in the dark.
