TODAY’s Dylan Dreyer shared an awkward poolside photo of himself and his dog.
She admitted that “it’s been a long week” after the author dealt with social media trolls after the release of her new book.
On Saturday, 41-year-old Dylan posted a picture of himself lying on the ground next to the pool on Instagram.
Her family dog, Bosco, was stretched out to her side in a similar position.
In the photo, Dylan appeared tired wearing rolled up sweatpants and a hoodie.
The NBC meteorologist shared in the caption: ,Bosco and I are sharing a mood. It’s been a long week!”
It’s been a really big week for Dylan, who released his second children’s book on Tuesday.
Misty the Cloud: Friends Through Rain or Shine tells the story of compromise and togetherness through the concepts of weather and is published by Random House.
It is the follow-up book to Misty the Cloud: A Very Stormy Day, which was a New York Times bestseller in 2021.
The same day as the book was released, Dylan celebrated the release with his co-hosts on TODAY, Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie.

However, Dylan later had to deal with an online hater who had some unkind words to say about his new accomplishment.
A mean commenter on social media asked: “Would anyone be buying this book had it not been on the TODAY show? No!”
The provocateur continued: “Would he have written it too? No!”
But the TV personality decided to reply: “Thank you for crushing people’s dreams! You should pick up a copy of my book and learn about kindness!”
Fans jumped to defend the host, condemning the brutal message and sharing their support for his new book.
A follower told Dylan that he had “the perfect response!” was posted.
Another replied to the troll: “She’s very good at her job, so there she is. Also very talented. He has earned respect. ,
Dylan is married to Brian Fichera—the couple has three sons, Calvin, five; Oliver, two; And baby Russell, one.
